This page has been created to help shed some light on the ever-increasing problem of light pollution foster environmental activism against this assault on our nighttime environment.  

Here you will find Phil Harrington's Master's thesis that studies the problem from an energy-management/conservation standpoint as well as a copy of the initial legislation passed in 2007 by Phil's town of Brookhaven, New York.
